You are a network of merchants, organized in the form of an association or economic interest group. You are a federation of merchant associations or a chamber of commerce.

Merchants come together in associations in order to combine their strengths and find common solutions to the drop in footfall in their shops generated by competition from the large brands and by changing patterns of consumption.

Even if they have common interests, each merchant wants to retain his/her specific features and independence.

Merchant networks have managed to implement loyalty programmes for a long time. However, these programmes are often too rigid, not open to being developed and take no account of new technologies.

The competition has developed new loyalty tools (prepaid, credit, payment by instalments and gift cards) based on the use of cards, while many merchant networks are still offering credit notes and reductions on simple paper.

A national electronic wallet and all the banking products require investment or commission costs that are out of step with merchants’ income.

Out of a concern to encourage loyalty among your clientele, to develop your sales and build your identity, you would like to have the same solutions and tools as the major distribution actors, but adapted to your real needs and in line with your financial resources.
